Just a note of many thanks for your impromptu poem the other night. It was touching and made us feel very welcome in your midst. Best regards,
Daniel.

Here is the toast I wrote for your friends, Phillip and Daniel: Here's a birthday toast to our dear friends Who've joined us tonight until the fun ends We salute Daniel who came here from Israel And Phillip from Russia who lives here as well The scientifc work these doctors do
To help find cures for me and you
Are the gifts they share with the universe
For your birthdays tonight, we salute you in verse. Linda Pirrone

Julian and Linda have been performing at the American Legion Post 139 for the past eight years to entertain the veterans and the Philippine-American community. It has become a popular gathering place where everyone can sing, eat, and socialize without the pressures of a normal night club. Children are welcomed with toys and art material to entertain themselves while their parents and grandparents sing their hearts out. Julian's mother, Leonila prepares most of the food out of the goodness of her heart. The monthly parties have been frequented by professional stage performers from the Fords Theatre in Washington, DC. Musicians are welcomed with their musical instruments and are encouraged to jam.
